A pleasure to work with from start to finish. They did their utmost to fit around our rather specific needs. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious to boot.

I am a recent bride writing this on my father in laws account (technical difficulties). I cannot recommend Summerby's enough! Steven was always really easy to get in touch with, answered my emails quickly, he was flexible with our last minute changes (which I imagine is very hard to do when it comes to catering!) and I can't thank him and the team enough! They recently catered for my wedding, over a hundred guests and worked tirelessly, none-stop throughout the day, from the early morning to the late evening. They did it all with smiles, kindness and professionalism. I had so many guests compliment the food, and how hot the food was even for the last tables being served. We had a 3 course meal and a buffet for the evening. The staff were very good at keeping all of the timings on track even though we were late to start the meal. Steve and his team are happy to listen to what you want and will happily tailor things to what you like. The staff were very friendly and polite. We would happily use them again for other functions.

The carvery was probably the best I have ever had and all of our guests loved it. We had a few gluten free guests and some veggies and they were all catered for. The puddings were to die for.

The evening food went down brilliantly, everyone loved something other than a cold buffet, highly recommended!

Summerby's catered our wedding on the 3rd June with a lunch and evening buffet. Lunch food was delicious and very well presented, especially with the additional challenge of being outdoors in a slightly muddy woodland!
Evening buffet was equally good, things all changed over and were prepared behind the scenes without me even noticing. Guests with special dietary needs were well taken care of. Steven and his team were very attentive to all our guests and took obvious pride in their work and in delivering a great meal. Portions were expertly judged, our guests were all happily fed and left barely anything. Dessert was also very good.

We booked Steven and the team for our wedding on the 17th December. We had soup followed by a carvery and apple crumble for dessert. The meal was delicious, the portions were plentiful and the meat was divine. There was so much choice even the fussiest of people had something to eat. All the guests enjoyed the meal, some even struggled to finish. One guest commented that the food at her sons rather expensive wedding wasn't a patch on what Steven and his team served at ours. Truly delicious! 
Through out the planning Steven was helpful and offered advice to make sure every thing was covered and ran smoothly. The chef and waiting staff were professional and helpful. On the day it was one thing I didn't need to worry about as Steven knew exactly what he was doing. 
All in all, I will recommend Summerbys to my friends and family, good honest, well cooked affordable food. All of our guests were pleased and my husband and I had fully tummies! Steven and his chef Clint were very professional, great communication beforehand, flexible in the event of British Summer weather (i.e Rain) arriving. Well once again another 5 star review for Summerbys catering who we chose to cater for my 60th birthday party! Steven and his team were great, you can tell Steven has a real passion for what he does. Nothing was too much trouble and he was so flexible with his menus and everything was made so easy as Steven was eager to provide what was best for us! Clint was great cooking the BBQ outside and not at all put off by the terrible weather! Steven suggested positioning it so the guests had to walk past it on their way in so it was great for them to see and smell it cooking. We originally chose Steven because he uses our butcher to get his meat so we knew it would be good but the way it was cooked made all the difference, the chicken drumsticks were delicious, in fact so many guests commented on how good it all was especially the strawberry cheesecake! We hired Steve for our daughters wedding, and since our first contact with him we have been impressed with his understanding and delivering of his service. On the day he and his team were very professional, our 3 course Carvery was great, with a selection of deliciously cooked meats, and a good variety of vegetables . In my husbands opinion he has felt it is better than the Fayre served up by any well known Carvery chains. I know that there were at least 3 professional chefs at the wedding who gave thumbs up to the food and service Many guests came and asked how we had found him and asked about prices which they felt were very reasonable for what we had.would we use him again? The food and service was 100% and Steven was absolutely great he could not do enough for us and him and his team made sure that everything was perfect and ran smooth on our big day. We are very thankful and would strongly recommend them to others!! Xx

Heidi Burrows and I absolutely loved what Summerbys Catering did for us. Steven and his team have been amazing throughout and forever accommodating our wants for our big day. The food was better than we ever could have imagined and all of our guests have stated just how good the food was. I cannot recommend Summerbys highly enough. Heidi and i will be using this company again.

Nothing was too much trouble and they helped keep us informed of what was happening whilst at the church.

The food was just as Steven had promised, tasty, hot, quality and plenty of it for all our guests. He turned up on time, his staff were well presented and very pleasant and friendly to us and all our guests and made them all feel at ease. Steven served our guests on the chocolate fountain and took lots of photos which he then forwarded to me as promised and they were fab!! We had a lot of kids there who all loved the fountain and Steven was excellent with them too. My elderly Grandmother and Auntie commented on how well mannered and polite Steven was and our wedding wouldn't have been the same without them! He also went out of his way to meet us several times before the wedding to ensure everything was perfect which it was

The service and quality of the catering was out of this world....We could not have asked for more or any better....Highly recommended!! A huge THANK YOU for sharing our special day and for the amazing quality of our food......

I'd like to echo the thoughts of everyone else here; Steve and his staff were very professional and friendly, the marquee, equipment and lighting were very nicely done, and the food itself - brilliantly cooked and presented, plenty of it, and a variety of choices too. We had about 50 people for a 50th, and Steve ensured it went really well - I'm sure he'll pick up some more bookings from our guests!

The chocolate fountain was also a big hit and a photo point. It looked (and tasted) fantastic.

We'd definitely book Steve, or recommend him, again
